The HC has also ruled in John\u2019s favour, cancelling the beleaguered film\u2019s association with KriArj Entertainment. In the past couple of weeks, there were several news reports of John moving court for his film \u2018Parmanu \u2013 The Story of Pokhran\u2019 when a number of payments were defaulted by KriArj Entertainment. After repeated promises of financing the publicity and marketing campaign plus the production cost, a large number of dues remained unpaid. After patiently waiting and giving KriArj a number of chances, John was left with no option but to pursue legal action against KriArj.<\/p>\n<p>A recent statement released by John\u2019s spokesperson (of JA Entertainment), said that the film will release under three banners \u2014 JA Entertainment, Zee Studios and Kyta Productions. The statement said, \u201cAt the very outset, we would like to thank the entire media fraternity for its continued support to us and our film, \u2018Parmanu-The Story of Pokhran\u2019. We would like to briefly apprise you of yesterday\u2019s developments in the on-going case in the Hon\u2019ble Bombay High Court. It has been agreed that \u2018Parmanu-The Story of Pokhran\u2019, will release on May 25, 2018 under the joint banner of JA Entertainment, Zee Studios and Kyta Productions. There is no other producer associated with this project. The trailer of the film will be launched today on May 11, 2018 which is the 20th anniversary of India\u2019s nuclear test explosions at\u00a0Pokhran. The film will be distributed in India by Vashu Bhagnani\u2019s Pooja Entertainment and will be distributed overseas by Zee Studios. We are extremely thankful to the Hon\u2019ble Bombay High Court for the speedy resolution of various issues at hand thus paving the way for our film\u2019s release. We would like to make no further comment and focus all our energies on the release of the film now.
