Giving into it also means that your partner  will suffer the burden of your fears so, to make your lives a better  place to be, try to find some ways to eliminate or at least limit this  feeling by taking responsibility for your emotions and knowing you have a  choice.<\/li>\n<li>When you get up tomorrow begin to do something right away, and keep  yourself busy all the day.Taking action by doing something, almost  anything, will really help you to work through your anxiety. Sometimes  it is making the dishes or working in your garden. Other times it is  meditating or reading. Just sitting around and thinking about your  worries and problems would not make them go away.<\/li>\n<li>Focus your attention on where the feeling of anxiousness is in your  body and keep your attention there until the feeling moves or  dissolves.&nbsp;For instance the tension could be in your neck or abdomen.  Whenever your attention wanders, bring it back to that place in your  body where the physical feeling is. Performing it for 5 or 10 minutes  can decrease, if not eliminate, the anxiety.<\/li>\n<li>Anxiety will increase and grow day by day if it is not directed into  some positive actions.&nbsp;Find someone who requires you and lend him or  her a helping hand. It will almost always take your mind off your fears  and problems. Helping others is really a way of taking responsibility  and action for your own healing.<\/li>\n<li>Talking and sharing your problems with your close ones is one of the  best ways to avoid anxiety.&nbsp;Getting together with your family members  and friends, even your fellow patrons at Starbucks, and talking about  what you are feeling can be very helpful to avoid anxiety. If you are  unable to talk to someone, try visiting an appropriate internet chat  room or writing a letter.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise is another effective way to keep from letting your fears  overcome.&nbsp;Sometimes smooth forms of exercise as yoga and walking can be  better than a hard workout at the gym. Do what works best for you at the  moment and don\u2019t worry about breaking your casual routine, that change  may actually help to decrease your anxiety.<\/li>\n<li>Begin a&nbsp;gratitude&nbsp;journal, write down 3 to 5 things that you are  grateful for.&nbsp;Do it at night daily, it works and very easy to do. Keep  yourself aware of all the good that surrounds you.&nbsp; You can also write  down for a releasing journal in which you write about your anxiety and  the actions that you can take to overcome those fears.<\/li>\n<li>The opposite of&nbsp;fear&nbsp;is&nbsp;faith.&nbsp;When you are anxious, a great way to  get rid of it is to have firm faith. Trusting that things will get  better is sometimes all it takes to make it better. It also assists to  never underestimate the power of positive prayer or&nbsp;visualization, if it  can cure cancer it can also decrease your anxiety.<\/li>\n<li>If watching the news gives you anxiety, then simply turn off the  TV.&nbsp;The world will continue to revolve even if you are not watching it  on CNN. Limit yourself for news to one hour daily and don\u2019t watch  anything which may cause to upset you before go to bed.<\/li>\n<li>Courage is not the absence of fear, but taking action in spite of  fear.&nbsp;Doing something new or confronting a fear by taking some baby  steps is much more positive than to do nothing.
