He told senior advocate Raju Ramachandran, \u201cWinter session of Parliament is coming. Wait.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As the counsel persisted, the CJI said, \u201cSuppose we issue notice and the ordinance is not stayed, what is the purpose?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ramachandran said the very bringing of the ordinance was a fraud on the Constitution. The CJI replied, \u201cWhat fraud on the Constitution?\u2026 Don\u2019t go so high.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bench went on to dismiss the petition when Ramachandran sought permission to withdraw it.
