Senior\u00a0Roshan had approached the Supreme Court to have the FIR against him quashed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-family: 'Open Sans'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 26px; color: #222222;\">The Uttarakhand police had lodged an FIR against Roshan when a local writer, Roopnarayan Sonkar, filed a complaint at Dalanwala police station in May last year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-family: 'Open Sans'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 26px; color: #222222;\">The chargesheet claimed that Rakesh Roshan had copied some portions of Sonkar\u2019s book \u2018Sooardan\u2019 for his 2013 blockbuster\u00a0<em style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Krrish-3<\/em>. The police have claimed that they have enough evidence under Section 63 of the Copyright Act.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-family: 'Open Sans'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 26px; color: #222222;\">Roshan had first moved the Uttarakhand High Court for quashing of the FIR. The high court rejected his plea on the ground that a chargesheet had already been filed against him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-family: 'Open Sans'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 26px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 26px; color: #222222;\">On Friday\u00a0the Supreme Court bench ordered the rejoinder to be filed.
