{"id":9894,"date":"2020-09-09T05:23:52","date_gmt":"2020-09-09T05:23:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wakilsahab.in\/news\/?p=9894"},"modified":"2020-09-09T05:23:52","modified_gmt":"2020-09-09T05:23:52","slug":"similar-issue-pending-before-sc-delhi-hc-allows-withdrawal-of-petition-for-financial-help-for-lawyers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wakilsahab.in\/news\/similar-issue-pending-before-sc-delhi-hc-allows-withdrawal-of-petition-for-financial-help-for-lawyers\/","title":{"rendered":"Similar issue pending before SC: Delhi HC allows withdrawal of petition for financial help for lawyers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Source:-indialegallive<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Delhi<\/strong>: The Delhi High Court today allowed a petitioner to withdraw his petition seeking financial assistance to the advocates enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi without discrimination on the ground of residential address or voter ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A divisional bench comprising Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Subramonium Prasad noted: \u201cPetitioner seeks to withdraw the petition as the Supreme Court is seized of the issue\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The petition had been filed by Sunil Kumar Tiwari stated: \u201c\u2026most of the advocates who come from a middle-class family and lower-middle-class family are not able to survive and feed their family without financial assistance.
